Download the Web Deploy Packages and SIF Configuration Files


After selecting your environment topology, for example XP Single (XP0), XM Scaled (XM1), or XP Scaled (XP1),
you must download the corresponding web deploy packages which also contain the SIF configuration files from the sitecore download page https://dev.sitecore.net



    1. Download Package for XP Scaled as we are installing XP 9 update 1 for developer as a Single Instance Configuration in On Premises mode








    1. Extract the Sitecore 9.0.1 rev. 171219 (WDP XP1 packages).zip. This zip file contains another set of zip files








    1. Extract the XP1 Configuration files 9.0.1 rev. 171219.zip file








    1. Now you will get the set of json files








    1. Also place your sitecore license file in this folder. You will be ended up having a folder structure like this






Now we are all set with all the files and packages needed for the installation.
